Services:
1) In which area the boat sails?
Southeast of Florida, Atlantic Ocean going to the Keys: Islamorada,
Key Largo and Key West to the South and Bahamas to the East.
2) Where is the boat parked?
At this moment we are in Marina One, over the US1 aprox. half
mile North from Hillsboro Boulevard, in Boca Raton (near Fort
Lauderdale, Orlando and Miami). We are planning to move in the
near future so check the site for updates.
3) What do I have to carry to the trip?
Only your clothing, beverages, snacks, sunglasses and camera,
we take care of everything else including rods, reels, bait, tackle
and ice.
4) About the beverages... can I bring beer?
Yes.
5) Which trips are offered and for how much?
We offer 1/2, 3/4, 1 day and special trips to Bahamas of 3 days
or more, at a starting price of $450 for the 1/2 day trip.
6) What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted.
Boat:
1) What boat do you have?
A 53' Hatteras Sport Fisherman, it is considered among the best
for this kind of activities.
2) How many people do you carry?
6 persons, and babies are counted the same as adults.
3) Which are the amenities of the boat?
It has 3 bedrooms (2 suites and one with bunker beds), 2 full
baths (one internal of one of the suites and the other with access
from the outside and from the bedroom with the bunker beds), full
kitchen and living area. 2 fishing chairs specially designed for
deep sea fishing.
Crew:
1) Is the crew experienced?
More than that. The Captain and the First Mate have both 30 years
of experience sailing these waters.
2) Is the crew family oriented? Can I bring my kids?
Yes, we are family oriented. Kids are welcome.
3) I would like to try, but I have no clue about fishing.
Will the crew help me?
First timers are welcome, our First Mate will coach you every
step of the way.
Fishing:
1) I have my fish, now what?
You can release it or keep it. In case of keeping it you can take
it home (we will clean it for you) or leave it and we take care
of it.
2) How do I know what I caught?
The fishes of these waters have very distinctive characteristics.
We will know what you fished. And to help you recall, we will
send you the taxidermic description.
3) How do I know if the fish is good for eating?
We know.
4) What can I fish for in South Florida?
Amberjack, barracuda, black tip shark, blue marlin, bonefish,
dolphin, hammerhead shark, king mackerel, mutton snapper, rooster
fish, sailfish, spearfish, stripped marlin, tarpon, wahoo, white
marlin and yellowfin tuna.
